Home Made Ayurvedic Remedies for Dandruff
Dandruff problem could be a menace and it should be treated carefully when it occurs.
There are a lot of home made Ayurvedic remedies applicable to this scalp problem.
A spoonful of camphor is mixed with coconut oil, half a cup. Neem oil can also be used. This is to be kept closed in a container and used to massage every night. This should be done for fifteen days and best results should follow.
A spoonful of castor oil, coconut oil and mustard oil should be massaged on to the scalp every night and shampooed the next day.
The glycerine treatment also works wonders. One tablespoon of glycerine, mixed with one tablespoon of vinegar and one tablespoonful of coconut oil. Then it is washed off with a mild shampoo and repeated once a week.
Do you know that tamarind and sugarcane really works on dandruff. These are mixed and massaged on to the scalp. Then it is cleaned with shampoo and repeated once a week.
Another effective treatment is the vinegar and water treatment where lemon juice is added to 2 teaspoonful of vinegar. Then after a through massage it is cleaned off with an egg shampoo.
A part of sulphur powder and two parts of spirits with one part of almond oil and distilled water is mixed and applied to the scalp for dandruff to be gone for good.
Dried thyme in two cups and water is to be boiled for 10 minutes. This is massaged into the scalp when the mixture cools off and then it is kept on the scalp for thirty minutes. Then after you wash it off with water dandruff is fully removed.
Fenugreek seeks dipped in water all through out the night and massaged on to the head the next day should work on dandruffs.
The other ingredients are lemon and hazel. One tablespoon of fresh lemon juice is mixed with hazel, 100 grams and water is added. This mixture helps to wash the hair. Doing this a number of times, wards off dandruff.
With these home made remedies from the Ayurveda, you would soon have a scalp free of dandruff.
